A Surprise of Madrid Masters : Gilles Simon

Hey there,
I haven't write this blog for a while now. Last week, I had a chance to watch ATP Masters Series at Madrid, Spain. The winner of the tournament is Andy Murray which is not surprise that much as Murray is currently no.4 in the world and he is in a great form at the moment. But the runner up is GILLES SIMON. Well, he is in top 20 and now after this runner-up, he rises to no.10 in the ranking at the moment. He beat many good players in 3 sets along his ways including Andreev, Blake, Ginepri, Karlovic, and Nadal who is currently world no.1. Also, now Gilles Simon is a French no.1 at the moment.
Let's see how far this guy can go. He will rise more, or will he fall. We can find out in next 2 weeks as it will effect his chance to play in Tennis Master Cup at the end of the year. I wish he could make it though. Keep wishing.

Tennis : Will Nadal Be A New No.1 ???

Hey there,
Before French Open Start, Nadal almost slipped from No.2 to No.3. However, at the moment he has a good chance to be new no.1 instead of Federer. I predict he will be new number 1 somewhere in August. Will it be true? Well, with his consistency and both Federer and Djokovic are in just "ok" form make the chance for him to be no.1 this time is around 80-90%, so I say "yes". Rafael Nadal will be new no.1 soon. Time will prove it. Let's see.
Talk more soon.

The Tudors VS The Other Boleyn Girl

Hey guys,
Long time I haven't update this blog. Few days ago, I have a chance to watch series called "The Tudors" and movie called "The other boleyn girl". Both of them are about King Henry VIII. However, the tudors focus on King Henry VIII, religious and politic; well including some explicit sex scenes. For the other boleyn girl, it focus more on sister relationship, sort of soap opera.
Anyway, one thing that both of them have is entertaining audiance. I love both of them. If you like period movie or English history, you gonna love it. Both of them may not as accurate as history but I can confirm that you will like it. Go watch them soon and let's me know what you think.
Enjoy

Result of American Idol Season 7

Hey there,
I haven't update this blog for a while. Today I will update the news from American Idol. The result of the winner makes me very upset. It was David Cook who beat David Archuleta in the end. But is it surprised me? Actually, no. It was what I expected. I'm pretty sure if this singing contest were in some country in Europe, like X factor or other idols, or Asia, David Archuleta would win easily and David Cooks may not even make the final. However, this is American Idol. Seriously but true, there are a lot of artists from America who are very popular around the world. However, the winners of American Idol, besides Kelly Clarkson, were not quite good in the world music (Carrie Underwood is very popular in America but not anywhere else), while the artists from X factor, like Shayne Ward and Leona Lewis, do very well in the world music. Therefore, there is no exception in this season. From my opinion, I just think people from different country just have difference taste in music. Also, this is just my opinion, no offend to others. So, from now on, time will tell. Just wish you the best for your music career, David Archuleta.
Talk soon.

Songkran : Water festival

Hey there,
About less than a week, in thailand there will be a water festival called Songkran again. Actually, this water festival is also a Thailand New Year, from 13th April - 15th April every year.
What we normally do for this festival?
1. Go to the temple and give food to the monk.
2. Visitting grandparents and relatives
3. Throwing water to each other ( because Thai people believe that water will take away your bad luck plus April is the hottest month in Thailand)
Where should we go for water festival?
1. Bangkok (Khaosan road, Silom road) --> fun, lots of water wars, but crownded
2. Chiang Mai --> fun, crownded, but also have a beautiful thai style parade
3. Sukhothai --> beautiful, thai style, many people but not too crownded
Actually, there are many places like on the beach that you can also enjoy. Just go and have fun.
Enjoy Thai summer, enjoy Songkran.
Talk more soon.

One to Watch : American Idol Season 7 "DAVID ARCHULETA"

Hey guys,
I just have a chance to watch American Idol in this season for the first time, lucky me, finally. At the moment, it is a semifinal round for the last 24, 12 guys and 12 girls. Just 1 of those people that I can feel “Wow, he is different”. He has a nice, smooth and powerful voice. He is young (maybe too young can be a disadvantage for him though) and has talent. His name is “David Archuleta”. I’m sure that if this is an X-Factor (England Version) or The Star (Thailand Version), he will go very far more than top3. Anyway, this is American Idol. More difficult to predict but at least I think he can make it to top 10 (hopefully). However, keep your eyes on him and I’ll let you know the result later.
Talk soon and take care

Track Recommend : Bleeding Love

"Keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open"
Hey guys,
I hope you guys already listen to that chorus before. If not, you need to listen to it soon. Today I wanna recommend one song. This song is called "Bleeding Love" sung by Leona Lewis, the winner of X-Factor season3, and written by Ryan Tedder and Jesse McCartney. Yes, this song may come from pop manufacturer like X-factor, but this is a great contemporary R&B ballad song. Also, Leona's voice is very soulful, emotionally, and touching. Lyric is very deep. If you have a heart-break before, you will easily cry. Anyway, this song reaches number1 in many countries in Europe, including UK, and Australia. Just listen to it, then you will love this song like I do.

Hey guys,
From sad news about Heath Ledger, now this is sad news about Joachim Johansson (his nickname is Pim-Pim). No no!! he hasn't die yet, but he now officially retired from professional tennis since 1 February, 2008. He was born in Sweden. He got 3 titles and also a semifinalist of US.Open 2004 by beating Andy Roddick in Quarterfinal. It is very sad that he had to retire with his persistent shoulder injury. Anyway, good luck in your other careers. I wish you all the best. Good bye Pim-Pim (from tennis field).

Dedicate to Heath Ledger

Hello,
This is not a tennis story, but I'm about to write about him for a few days now. I don't know about him much. I've just know that he was in Brother Grimm and Brokeback Mountain, and will be in Batman : The Dark Knight, but when I knew that he mysterious died on January 22, 2008. I was stunned. The nomination for Acadamy Award 2006 is gone. Life is too short. Hollywood has already lost another smart actor. Wish you rest in peace and all the best thing for you in the peaceful place.
RIP

The Winner of Australian Open 2008 is .......... "The Joker" NOVAK DJOKOVIC

Hey there,
First of all, congratulation to Novak to win his first Grand Slam with the age of 20. He beat Tsonga in 4 sets (beat Federer in 3 sets in Semifinal). Nole has an all around game, steady ground stroke, top-spin forehand, great backhand down the line, and err.. 100 ball bouncing sometime. Anyway, he deserve to win this tournament. I feel very happy for him. Since 2004 Thailand Open, I saw him as a wildcard and lost in the 1st round. After that, I always support him to be successful. Now, he won his first Grand Slam at Australian Open 2008. I hope he can continue his success. Also, congratulation for the runner up Tsonga who made a miracle run in this Australian Open as well, beating Nadal, Gasquet and Murray to the Final.
I think men tennis 2008 getting interesting now. Let's see what will happen for tennis this year and enjoy it.
Write more soon.

P.S. Novak's youngest brother, Djorje, is so cute. Check out this little boy in the pic I attached

Dark Horses of Australian Open 2008

Hey guys,
Australian Open 2008 has already been in second week right now. Both men and women are in the quarter final round. For men, Federer VS. Blake/ Djokovic VS. Ferrer/ Tsonga VS. Youzhny/ Nieminen VS. Nadal. For women, Henin VS. Sharapova/ Serena VS. Jankovic/ Venus VS. Ivanovic/ Hantuchova VS. Radswanka. Both men and women have something similar. I would say Youzhny and Hantuchova are dark horses of this tournament if I don't see the name of Tsonga from French and Radswanka from Poland. These kids are still young and can make this far. Whether they will lose or win on their quarter final or not, they're already been successful for this tournament. (In fact, I prefer both to lose coz I prefer Youzhny and Hantuchova to win)
My dream final for men, I hope for Djokovic and Youzhny final. Yeah, I know it is very difiicult to be true, but I still keep wishing and praying. Who know? today, there is already an upset. Jankovic already beat Serena in straight. So, you never know.
Enjoy tennis and keep wishing for my dream final.
